Not only did I have the most wonderful time spending the panto season at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester, in their production of, Sleeping Beauty but I've also just returned from Pittsburgh in the States doing "Egg" again with CahootNI, as part of the International Performing Arts for Youth (IPAY) showcase. The show was met with great warmth and further performances in the States look likely to follow later this year and next.
Back home in the UK, the TV campaign I shot last year for Hotels4U.com launched on the 1st January. I had a great time shooting these commercials, playing the larger than life character of Danny who wants to give his wife, Poppy, the moon on a stick!

I'm Passionate About Being An Actor.
I trained in Acting at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London & in my final year was awarded The Carlton Television Bursary from the Laurence Olivier Bursary Panel of the Society of London Theatre.
I've worked for over ten years as a professional Actor across many disciplines such as Theatre, Film, TV Drama, Commercials, Voiceover, Presenting & I love it!

Like any profession though it comes with its own set of challenges and pitfalls.
Here I try to make sense of the often unusual world in my blog NEWS & VIEWS where I allow myself to document the many elements that support a successful career in the Arts, many things that people outside the "industry" are blissfully unaware of. It's not intended to be a social commentary on 'showbiz' today but rather a tool for me to reflect with in an industry that has very few "norms" or typical career paths. If, however, you gain any enjoyment in reading my posts and in sharing comments, ideas and experiences of your own, then the pleasure is all mine! Thanks for being here! Craig |
